C.C.S. is a ministry of South Dade Baptist Church. As such, the Pastor and Education Committee meet regularly to guide the school in fulfilling its mission statement, while adhering to its statement of philosophy.

The following statement was made by the Florida Department of Education and accurately represents their position of accreditation: “By law, the Department of Education does not act as an approval or accrediting agency. The Department is allowed only to register certain nonpublic schools and to collect certain prescribed data. In Florida, accreditation of schools/programs is entirely voluntary and is achieved by adopting and maintaining the academic standards prescribed by an independent association.”

C.C.S. is fully accredited by the National Private School Accrediting Alliance. This agency seeks “to stimulate the private, nonpublic schools to achieve and maintain a high level of professional integrity and competence,” and accredits schools in all 50 states. C.C.S. is also a participant member for the purposes of services and programs offered by the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and School, Inc. (FACCS), and has membership in the American Association of Christian School (AACS).
